Where I started

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been constantly creating something. As a kid I drew comics and character designs of my stuffed animals. After gaining access to my mum’s Macbook at age eight, I started making posters and advertisements for my favourite games and movies. All throughout school I was always drawing something and started taking visual art as a subject in Year 7.

In high school, I started taking design as a subject and discovered a solidified output for my creativity. I became Visual Art Ambassador for my school in Year 11 and ran an Art and Design club for kids who wanted to explore their own creative spark. I liked most of my subjects, but design was where I felt truly motivated and compelled to keep creating.

How it’s going

I’ve been attending Griffith’s Queensland College of Art and Design since 2024 and am in my third year of a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication). Through this course I have substantially developed my technical design skills and knowledge. Through Liveworm Studio, I’ve worked with industry clients to produce visual assets such as a collaborative artwork displayed at Lumina Gold Coast and a page in Assisi Catholic College’s 2025 Yearbook.

I currently continue to produce visual assets as a freelance illustrator for friends and mutual connections. Once I finish my undergraduate degree, I aim to open commissions to the general public while selling my artwork produced physically as stationary and merchandise.

My Core Values

  • Being true to yourself and not changing who you are for anyone. This is crucial to being a creative that stands out and pioneers new fronts.

  • To create something new you must enable any and all ideas that you think of. Even if something isn’t developed further, it was considered and helped build your skills.

  • To exclude someone for something that is beyond their control is to live a life of ignorance and creates a shallow creative lens. You must consider the implications of your design on others.
